As well as providing a theatre space for outstanding community theatre, Theatre Hawke’s Bay is also available for hire as a meeting or performance space. Come and have your AGM or event here! We can provide:

• AV Projector (foyer only)
• Screen (Drop-down)
• Provision to plug into computers for “Power Point” displays
• Full Sound System
• A kitchen suitable for catering

The foyer area is suitable for 30 to 50 persons.

We also offer hireage of the theatre itself, perfect for your next large gathering/production/show. The Playhouse is a fully equipped small scale theatre seating up to 150, suitable for intimate traveling productions or local school shows.

What You Get:

• Full use of two dressing rooms, a Make-up Room and a large Green Room.
• Full use of three toilets, a shower, mirrors, tables and seating, iron and ironing board and tea and coffee making facilities.
• A fully staffed licensed bar in the foyer, open 30 minutes before your show and during the interval. Please note that the bar is only available for shows and no other functions i.e. conferences.
• An orchestra pit that comfortably seats 6 musicians.
• Front of house personnel
• Assistance with marketing; inclusion in members newsletter and on our website where relevant and when timing permits.

Technical facilities:
Included in the hire is the use of the theatre’s in-house staging and technical facilities.Some additional technical equipment is available at an additional cost. Our technicians must be hired for lighting and sound use.
